Tamsyn Irwin is a graduate of NAIT’s Personal Fitness Trainer program and is also Certified through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology as a Certified Personal Trainer.
Tamsyn’s fitness career began at an early age. As far back as she can remember, she was involved in athletics where she developed her foundation for an active lifestyle. She worked her way up from intramural sports in school and college to being a national caliber athlete. As well as competing, Tamsyn has also devoted her time to coaching younger teams. Coaching is probably the biggest factor that led Tamsyn to want to become a fitness trainer. Over the years she has been very grateful to have had all her coaches, teachers and role models in her life. She admired what they had to offer. Tamsyn wants to pay forward what she has been so fortunate to learn.
Tamsyn’s training philosophy is mind over matter. We all know what we can do, what we don’t know is how much more we are capable of doing. She believes that our minds are stronger than any of our muscles. We need to use our mental strength in order to develop our physical strength. She will give you that push, so that you will leave your comfort zone and see what you can truly do, not only in exercise but also in everyday life. Tamsyn hopes to lead by example in helping others to embrace the world of health and fitness.

Rylee Tinka is a Personal Trainer Specialist and Group Fitness instructor certified through canfitpro. Her fitness and wellness philosophy is that it is the foundation of the things many people want out of life: confidence, vitality, health, mental and physical strength. She has been physically active in competitive sports from an early age, participating in basketball, soccer, volleyball, and baseball.
Rylee is dedicated to providing the highest quality individual and group personal training experiences. She is dedicated to making her clients realize their full potential and continue to set higher goals for themselves inside and outside the gym. Through Rylee’s experience navigating her own fitness journey, she has developed a strong aptitude in motivating others to overcome during their times of physical and mental struggle with fitness. She enjoys all facets of fitness and wellness and is eager to spread that passion to others

Janni Hussi

Janni comes all the way from Finland. Sports have been her passion since she started to crawl and for 13 years soccer was her main sport. After a knee injury she started to spend more time at the gym for rehabbing the knee. It didn't take long when se noticed she was into weight lifting. Then she wanted to try fitness competitions - and did it with pretty good results.
Janni have been teaching group fitness classes and mainly spinning for many years and she graduated from Sports Institute of Finland in 2012. But still she thinks that the best learn came from doing the fitness competitions. At that time she learned a lot about different diets and different kinds of workouts and how they affects to human body not forgetting the mental wellness.
Janni's favorite phrase is "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you".

Jessica’s passion and enthusiasm for health and fitness is contagious. She strongly believes that by living an active lifestyle you are able to truly live your life to the fullest! Her approach with clients is one based on trust and open communication. Once goals are set and an action plan is developed, her top priority is to educate, motivate and coach you to ensure those goals are met. With your commitment, Jessica guarantees you will succeed!
Jessica has been recognized as a fitness expert for national magazines including Chatelaine and Canadian Health. She has also won numerous awards for her work in the industry as both a trainer and a manager. Her personal goal of inspiring the world to fitness does not end with clients but extends to other fitness professionals as well.
As a former canfitpro PRO TRAINER she takes great pride in educating and training up and coming professionals. Jessica welcomes any questions that you have and looks forward to helping you achieve all your health and fitness goals!

Janice Baskin

Janice has been a fitness instructor since 2007. Although always an athlete, Janice caught the
group fitness bug after having her first child. Struggling with postpartum depression and
needing an outlet, she found group fitness as way to develop a self-care routine and start to
feel good about herself again. It is no secret that Janice has always loved being at the front of
a room, so once her confidence was back, it was a natural fit to move from a participant to a
leader. In 2014, Janice was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer and once again, her
continued dedication to her own health and wellness, as well as the support of a fitness
community was there to help through the difficult year of treatments, surgeries and mental
health struggles. Janice has a deep passion for working with people to overcome their own
feelings of self-doubt and moving into a positive mindset. She believes deeply in the
importance of a strong community and in having those people’s support through all of life’s
challenges. Janice absolutely loves watching people set goals and achieve them. Invite her to
your first race or event and you will most definitely catch tears of pride in her eyes.

This class guarantees a full body workout by alternating between intervals on the bike to core conditioning exercises off the bike. It's a class perfect for those who are intimidated of sitting on the bike for an entire class and those looking for a top-notch comprehensive workout in just 60 minutes.
Like all of our Signature Classes, this class is appropriate for all levels and modifications will be provided when appropriate.
