Lindsay Broks

Personal Fitness Trainer (NAIT Diploma)Certified Personal Trainer (CSEP)Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASP)Lindsay graduated from NAIT’s Personal Fitness Training Program and she also is certified with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology and as a Corrective Exercise Specialist for the National Academy of Sports Medicine.Lindsay’s passion for fitness started at a young age as she competed throughout her life in dance, soccer, and volleyball. Training for competitions all her life she understands the physical and mental challenges you must go through to reach your goals and will push her clients until that goal is met.Lindsay knows that with a little help, some hard work, and motivation you can reach your full potential. Whether during a personal training session, group training session, group class, or corrective exercise training she will be there every step of the way to give each client the individual attention and encouragement that they need to reach their goals.

Melanie Wilkinson

Melanie is a graduate from the NAIT – Personal Fitness Trainer program. Her personal philosophy is to help others overcome obstacles that can get in the way of achieving their goals. Giving them that extra push that is needed when they say no more. And empowering them to succeed beyond their own expectations.
She loves to not only push and work her clients hard but also to have fun with them at the same time. Her determination to help and see a client’s success is what she thrives on. She likes to design a variety of programs for her clients whether its in the studio or for home, always challenging them to keep working hard.
Melanie wants her clients to feel motivated enough that they look forward to their sessions with her but also make activity part of their lifestyle,therefore moving them closer to their goals. She believes everyone should experience the feeling of accomplishing a goal – if you believe it you can achieve it!!

Meg MacLeod

Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (U of A) Certified Personal Trainer (CSEP) Meagan is a graduate from the Kinesiology program at the UofA as well as Certified through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology as a Certified Personal Trainer. Meagan has been active as far back as she can remember, with playing sports and going to the gym. Throughout junior high and high school she was a competitive swimmer and played squash. Meagan is very passionate about health and fitness, she believes that being active and leading a healthy lifestyle is the key to leading a happy life and feeling good about yourself. Meagan's training philosophy is to offer encouragement and push her clients past what they think they can do. You need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Whatever your comfort level may be we can work together to push you past that level and get you the results you want!

Tamsyn Irwin

Tamsyn Irwin is a graduate of NAIT’s Personal Fitness Trainer program and is also Certified through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology as a Certified Personal Trainer.
Tamsyn’s fitness career began at an early age. As far back as she can remember, she was involved in athletics where she developed her foundation for an active lifestyle. She worked her way up from intramural sports in school and college to being a national caliber athlete. As well as competing, Tamsyn has also devoted her time to coaching younger teams. Coaching is probably the biggest factor that led Tamsyn to want to become a fitness trainer. Over the years she has been very grateful to have had all her coaches, teachers and role models in her life. She admired what they had to offer. Tamsyn wants to pay forward what she has been so fortunate to learn.
Tamsyn’s training philosophy is mind over matter. We all know what we can do, what we don’t know is how much more we are capable of doing. She believes that our minds are stronger than any of our muscles. We need to use our mental strength in order to develop our physical strength. She will give you that push, so that you will leave your comfort zone and see what you can truly do, not only in exercise but also in everyday life. Tamsyn hopes to lead by example in helping others to embrace the world of health and fitness.

He has been working as a fitness professional since 1992 and has had the opportunity to work with all walks of lives including the professional athlete to those just wanting to get started. His energy and passion for this industry is renewed on a daily basis when working with both clients and fellow Infinite team members. He has also been awarded a Quality Leadership Award for his contribution as a fitness professional and his ability to inspire a team of other professionals.
Tristan believes that all goals are achievable and with his coaching and education you are guaranteed to get there!

Jessica’s passion and enthusiasm for health and fitness is contagious. She strongly believes that by living an active lifestyle you are able to truly live your life to the fullest! Her approach with clients is one based on trust and open communication. Once goals are set and an action plan is developed, her top priority is to educate, motivate and coach you to ensure those goals are met. With your commitment, Jessica guarantees you will succeed!
Jessica has been recognized as a fitness expert for national magazines including Chatelaine and Canadian Health. She has also won numerous awards for her work in the industry as both a trainer and a manager. Her personal goal of inspiring the world to fitness does not end with clients but extends to other fitness professionals as well.
As a former canfitpro PRO TRAINER she takes great pride in educating and training up and coming professionals. Jessica welcomes any questions that you have and looks forward to helping you achieve all your health and fitness goals!

Wendy MacKay

In September of 2006, Wendy first walked into Infinite Fitness, looking to expand her fitness routine beyond running a few times a week. Since then, Wendy has been a participant in every service offered by Infinite Fitness, from personal training to Pilates to group fitness classes.
Through these experiences, Wendy discovered she loves cycling.
The progression from indoor cycling participant to instructor was an easy decision for Wendy to make. She loves helping other others to feel her same passion, the sense of rider community, goal setting and ultimately crushing those goals. In May, Wendy took her passion to the next level, attaining her canfitpro FIS certification.
Wendy brings her “riders” 9 years of indoor cycling and 4 years of distance road cycling experience, enthusiasm and motivating music to every class - Feet in the pedals, head and heart in the clouds!

Sheena Gross

As a former nationally ranked athlete, Sheena’s passion for sport and fitness has fueled her desire to help others achieve their own personal goals. Upon the completion of her competitive swimming career, Sheena chose to pursue her love of fitness. As a graduate of the NAIT Personal Fitness Trainer program, Sheena began working with a wide variety of clients which ranged vastly: from beginners who are new to exercise, to individuals with severe spinal cord injuries, all the way to professional athletes.
Wanting to take health and fitness to a whole new level Sheena took her career to international waters as a Fitness Director aboard a cruise ship. Working worldwide with clients from all cultures and backgrounds exposed Sheena to both dynamic and endless training experiences.
Sheena takes a motivational and educational approach to helping you reach your goals no matter what they may be, she strives to have her clients push beyond their perceived abilities. She believes passion is what drives us, whether it’s a passion for your sport, a passion to succeed, or a passion to change your life. The more strongly we feel about an idea, the hungrier we get, and the more direct the path becomes to attain the goal.

Christine Christianson

Christine is a graduate from the University of Alberta where she earned her Bachelor of Physical Education Degree with a minor in Nutrition. While completing her degree, she attained her Personal Training Certificate through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. She also became a Group Fitness Leader for Older Adults through the AFLCA Provincial Fitness Unit.
Christine was previously an Exercise Therapist at a physiotherapy clinic where she coached and trained a variety of clientele with a wide range of abilities and conditions. There she conducted fitness assessments, gait analyses, and created conditioning programs for people recovering from injuries.
Christine enjoys swimming and participating in half marathons and triathlons. She is extremely passionate about promoting the whole "health excellence package" – healthy eating, muscle strengthening, agility, flexibility, and improving cardio-vascular endurance. She believes that, regardless of age and fitness level, health-excellence is achievable. Christine will help you turn your resolutions into habits!

Joey Bouma

Teaching is nothing new for Joey ~ she graduated with a Bachelor of Education in 1991 from the University of Saskatchewan. Since then she has taught grades 4-12, in addition to coaching both Junior Boys and Senior Girls Volleyball. Growing up, Joey kept active competing in sports such as volleyball, figure skating, track and field, and softball. It wasn’t until after having her two daughters that Joey developed a love for running.
While training for her second marathon she injured her knee while playing volleyball. It was after her recovery from the surgeries that Joey realized running would never be the same and that is when she turned to the bike and fell in love with spinning. She soon joined Infinite Fitness and not long after was a regular in the Infinite Ride classes. After four years of being a client at IF, the teacher in Joey wanted more, and so in February of 2015 she achieved CycleFit Certification, and has been going strong ever since!
More than anything, Joey absolutely loves motivating people of all ages to come and ride with her, to do their best and nothing less, to set personal goals, and to leave with no regrets! She especially loves the music loud - loud enough to make you want to dance ~ but only when riding!!

Kirsten Puznak

Kirsten studied in the Bachelor of Science degree program at the University of Alberta for 3 years before entering the University's MD Program in August of 2015.
She has always been very active in sports and other recreational physical activity, and used to compete nationally in soccer and track. She is now playing soccer and volleyball recreationally, and enjoys hiking, running and horseback riding in her free time.
Kirsten's love for physical activity and passion for public health intersect to create an excitement and desire to help others become healthier and happier, through physical activity and personal empowerment. She loves being able to play a role in improving a client's happiness and physical progress, as well as in encouraging the development of friendships and support within the Infinite Fitness "family".

Janice Baskin

Janice has been a fitness instructor since 2007. Although always an athlete, Janice caught the
group fitness bug after having her first child. Struggling with postpartum depression and
needing an outlet, she found group fitness as way to develop a self-care routine and start to
feel good about herself again. It is no secret that Janice has always loved being at the front of
a room, so once her confidence was back, it was a natural fit to move from a participant to a
leader. In 2014, Janice was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer and once again, her
continued dedication to her own health and wellness, as well as the support of a fitness
community was there to help through the difficult year of treatments, surgeries and mental
health struggles. Janice has a deep passion for working with people to overcome their own
feelings of self-doubt and moving into a positive mindset. She believes deeply in the
importance of a strong community and in having those people’s support through all of life’s
challenges. Janice absolutely loves watching people set goals and achieve them. Invite her to
your first race or event and you will most definitely catch tears of pride in her eyes.
